Why this? Why now?
We can all see the rising VAWG epidemic and while we have heroines like Gisèle Pelicot, we need to be making sure that no-one has to ever endure sexual violence. He was family and I was four. It took me decades to say the word out 'rape' out loud, let alone make artivism part of my mission to make the world safer for children. And while having rapists, bigots and misogynists in positions of power makes this mission harder - it makes it more critical. While you can find out more about me and my journey in this recent article and LinkedIn post, these audience responses at the world premiere affirm the need for my anti-VAWG artivism.
